Who We Are & What We Want To Do
At Swing for A Cure Foundation, we believe in the power of community. Our mission is to bring people together to support those in need through innovative fundraising strategies.
In 2007 Shari began the amazing jouney of participating in long distance breast cancer walks (Komen 3 Day, Avon Walk for Breast Caner). She has walked over 700 miles in 11 states and participated in 19 events.
In 2019 Shari decided to create Swing for a Cure Foundation to help more people in her community. The money raised through the golf tournaments is distributed to local cancer centers and families going through cancer.
Since 2019 Swing for a Cure Foundation has raised and distributed over $172k to local organizations and families.
